Day 01 : Arrive Cochin
You will be met on your arrival at Cochin International airport and transferred to the hotel of your choice. Cochin or Kochi (new name) is the palm green commercial capital of Kerala. Cochin, Kerala's second largest city, will be the first stop of your Kerala holiday package. Overnight in Cochin.
Day-02 : In Cochin
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a sightseeing tour of Cochin visiting - St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue and the Chinese fishing nets. Overnight in Cochin.
Day-03 : Cochin - Periyar
After breakfast, depart for Periyar by road (200 kms/05 hrs). The Periyar Wildlife sanctuary is one of the best maintained wildlife sanctuaries in Southern India, giving an opportunity of spotting elephants, leopards, tigers and bisons, amongst various other species of flora and fauna. On your arrival in Periyar check into the Resort of your choice. Overnight at the Resort.
Day-04 : In Periyar
Early morning boat ride on Periyar lake for wildlife viewing . After breakfast a short jungle trek with a naturalist to view flora, fauna and avifauna. Overnight at the Resort.
Day-05 : Periyar - Kumarakom
After breakfast, depart for Kumarakom by road (140 kms/04 hrs). On your arrival in Kumarakom check-in to the Resort of your choice for another unique experience. Overnight at the Resort.
Day-06 : In Kumarakom
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight at the Resort.
Day-07 : Kumarakom - Houseboat
After breakfast, board houseboat for overnight cruise in the backwaters of Kerala. Cruise takes you through the palm fringed canals and is a unique way to discover Kerala. Evening candlelit dinner on board houseboat. The night spent on the Houseboat will long be remembered by you as the highlight of your Kerala tour package. Overnight on board the Houseboat.
Day-08 : Houseboat - Cochin
After breakfast, disembark the houseboat in Alleppey and depart for Cochin International Airport by road (70 kms/1 ½ hrs), where your Kerala tour package ends.
